Passport Reading
Our fifth grade students are asked to complete 1 Good Fit chapter book every six weeks. At the end of those periods, they will complete a summary in their passport, have a parent sign to acknowledge they saw their child reading at home, and have the teacher check it off. One of the various assigned book reports will then be completed in class. For students that completed 2 or more books in that six week period, they will get to participate in the continent themed Passport Party to celebrate their achievement of reading beyond what is required.
Have book talks with your child.
